Update 2026-10-08: Norway is actually putting a temporary ban on AI glasses in public places until they can decide for a formal law. Understanding it is an invasion of privacy and they want their citizens (girls?) to feel safe. Thank you Norway, for finding ways forward. ZuckOff is an app designed to notify you when someone is wearing bluetooth camera glasses nearby. Thanks for the article, SlashDot. Text from App Store: " Camera glasses announce themselves over Bluetooth. ZuckOff listens for those announcements and tells you when a lens is in the room. What it spots: · Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta, by the manufacturer signature in their Bluetooth advertisement · Snap Spectacles · Display glasses and headsets, including Quest and Vision Pro, are named in the log but never flagged: a headset is a camera you can see coming · The full list, and how each one is recognised, is in the app " Me, I got a 1 year subscription to try it out. Mostly, I just want to see how this works. Subscription is required for background/always on scanning. App Store | Google Play
